Conferences and Events for Latinx Student Entrepreneurs

Back in my younger years, I never emphasized on cultivating connections. Growing up alone, most of the times, I can pretty much do everything by myself.

“What is the point of working with other people? It usually means more work because they have to agree with my ideas.”

However, that all changed when I went to high school at Spanaway Lake High School in Spanaway, Washington. I was exposed to so many people with different backgrounds that I gradually realized that differing and conflicting opinions are significant to form an innovative idea.

As an aspiring entrepreneur and investor, forming connections is very crucial to consolidate my network. I can still remember when I traveled to Tijuana, Mexico where I encountered so many students and professionals with brilliant ideas that can change the world, (yes, I am not kidding!) but does not have the resources to do so. They don’t even know the definition of venture capitals, let alone angel investors.

Thus, it came to my attention that there are many Latinx networking events where entrepreneurs, business owners, and innovators come together to learn from each other. It is a huge networking event that everyone should take advantage of. More importantly, if you are a student, they usually have HUGE discounts just for you! So, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and apply! Below are just some of them:

(P.S.) If you have any recommendations that I should include, please don’t hesitate to send me a message! I will be more than happy to collaborate with you.
